For
a few years, Nickel Lodge has been collecting funds at each of our light
lunches that follow our meetings. Such funds are designated to help feed
the hungry. This year, we have chosen to give the funds collected in the
past 12 months to the food bank fund at the Parish of St Matthews and St
Timothys. Their catchment area has recently expanded, so the timing of
this donation is good. The picture is of John Reynolds presenting the $534.40 that
accumulated to Henry Laamanen (on the left) who is co-chair of the parish.
